    Vehicle Details
    1950 Hudson Pacemaker 4 door sedan. First year for the Pacemaker model. Former NC museum car and an older, amateur restoration. Was driven into the museum about 10 years ago, but not running now and I have not attempted to start it. Engine turns over freely. Original interior in fair condition. Chrome in good condition. Needs lower body work, but little rust and floors/trunk appear to be solid. Has original radio and heater and has good tires. Odometer shows 24,185 miles, but has turned over. Clear title in my name and comes with a shop manual, a few extra parts and old receipts for earlier repairs. Price is negotiable, but no trades or financing. Selling as it does not fit in with the other cars in my collection and running out of space. Car is located in downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. The car is advertised on two other local sites, so I reserve the right to end this listing early if it sells. Serious inquiries only. Thank you for your interest.

    On Nov-05-22 at 19:33:26 PDT, seller added the following information:
    Today, (Saturday, Nov. 5) we tried to get the Hudson running. Removed and installed new spark plugs and used a different 6 volt battery.  However, we could not get the car to turn over as it needs a new starter. We removed the old starter and cleaned it up, but to no avail. It is now in the trunk. The engine does turn over freely by hand and it has compression. It will also need a new thermostat. The reserve price has been reduced from ,000 to ,000 and the buy it now price has been lowered from ,500 to ,500.
