    Description

1980 original label retail store promo slick cover art 12 3/8" square
Shipped in oversize packing to protect corners.  This will be shipped with a scuffed 12" disc to add stiffness (no bending).
CBS released London Calling December 1979, and it was a hit on radio, resulting in big retail promotion early 1980.  This promo slick is from that promotion.
These are promo items from the record label, all original, to promote a new album.  We would hang them in the windows and on the walls, usually along with posters.  Sometimes promotions included cover art of previous releases that the company wanted to promote at the same time.
I worked at Budget Tapes and Records during my junior and senior years of college, and a little time afterwards, and I saved these advertising pieces during those years.
