Available today is a real classic.  This is a one family/2 owner (father/daughter) 1998 Lincoln Continental finished in ivory pearlescent exterior with medium prairie tan leather interior.  Even has the cellular phone in the armrest from 1998 (probably doesn't work - but very retro).  This car had a whopping MSRP in 1998 of ,165 and is presented today with a clean and accident-free Carfax report.  VIN # is 1LNFM97V8WY606902 and mileage is 122,6XX.
This is a rust free example with a beautiful body and excellent paint.  My detailer spent the better part of a day in July 2021 to make this car shine like new.  Even the headlights were refinished and look beautiful.  See the pictures for yourself.

The car was purchased new by the previous owner's father who drove it until he passed away.  The car was handed down to the previous owner who drove the car until her husband passed away in 2019.  I purchased the car locally in 2021 and had it sorted and re-commissioned to it's current pristine condition.  It has been gone thru by a local shop and repairs were done as follows.
Work done in July 2021 include:
- New battery
- Evacuate and recharge AC system (blowing cold)
- Replace steering rack boots
- Replace rear air bags (aftermarket)
- VA state inspection emission - pass
- VA state inspection safety - pass

Owner Comments:
This is not the typical maintenance deferred, sorry and sad vintage Lincoln Continental. This car has been gone thru recently by a reliable mechanic with needed work done including replacing the rear air bags, recharging the AC and replacing the battery. Once the car was made reliable, it was professionally detailed (6 hours) and now it shines like new.  Car is in excellent condition cosmetically with only minor chips and dings (2) noted to the exterior finish.  Also, wheels show some minor pitting.  Interior including wood and trunk are also in beautiful condition with no rips or scars in the leather whatsoever.  Original floor mats are covered by all weather mats which have protected them perfectly.  Engine bay has been detailed and shows very well.  This is a no excuses Lincoln that you'd be proud to add to your collection.
My goal is to be completely upfront and honest about the car. It includes original owner's manual, original window sticker and years worth of service receipts.
Overall Condition:
Overall, the car is very impressive. Relative to it's age, the mileage is very reasonable (about 3,800 per year). The car starts right up thanks to the new battery with no smoke visible and no leaks underneath. There are no check engine lights illuminated at all and the car goes thru it's systems check with all reporting "OK". In late July, 2021, the car passed VA. state safety inspection with flying colors (see sticker in the photo section).
Short List of Flaws:
There is a very short list of flaws that I've noticed:
- There is a scuff on the corner of the front bumper (see picture)
- The headliner near the rear window appears to be drooping on both sides (see picture)
Car includes 1 key and 1 fob
Keypad driver's door entry code is not known
