    Description

    Acme Vintage Strapping/Banding Tool, model SPB-570. This tool appears to be in working order. The trigger handle advances the lower notched bar and the side lever releases it.
    Side label reads "ACME STEEL CO. CHICAGO / STRAPPING TOOLS / PAT'D. NOV. 1, 1932 NO. 1,885,742."
    Top label reads, "THIS STRAPPING TOOL IS THE PROPERTY OF ACME STEEL COMPANY AND IS LEASED TO YOU IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR CONTRACT AGREEMENT."
    Please note while the tool itself is undated, this pre-dates ACME's merger with Interlake, which occurred in the 1960s.
