ANTIQUE ART DECO 6.55ctw DIAMOND PLATINUM COCKTAIL NECKLACE & RING SET 1930

Description

This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE COCKTAIL RING & NECKLACE SET hat was made in the ART DECO period of c1925 - c1935 from PLATINUM. The two pieces were originally part of a double clip brooch that was later made into a ring and a pendant.  Each piece is available separately in other listings.
The ring is set with a combination of 64 OLD MINE FULL & SINGLE CUT DIAMONDS, along with 14 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS.  These diamonds are in the H to K color range and in the SI1 to I clarity range with a total weight of approx. 3.05 ctw.  The largest diamond is approx. .18 ct. and one diamond has been replaced.
The head of the ring measures 1-5/16” long by 1” at the widest point. The ring fits a size 6.75 - 7 finger and the total ring weight is a solid feeling 11.1 grams.
The pendant is prong-set with 1 OLD EUROPEAN CUT DIAMOND of I-J color, SI2 clarity that weighs approx. .45 ct.  This diamond looks beautiful to the naked eye.  The pendant is detailed with a combination of 81 OLD MINE FULL, SINGLE & ROSE CUT DIAMONDS of H-I-J color, SI1 to I clarity that weigh approx. 3.05 ctw.  The total diamond weight is approx. 3.50 ctw.
The necklace measures 15.75” around the neck. The pendant portion hangs 1-11/16” down and it measures almost 1-3/16” at the widest point.  The total necklace weight is a solid feeling 10.4 grams.
