Antique Gargole Hook. Condition is "Used"
I personally removed this hook from a turn of the century south side of Chicago building prior to demolition in the 1970's. This hook is cast iron as most were on hall trees during that period. Some years later, I had it professionally brass plated and lacquered. Note the quality casting opposed to the poor quality of the reproductions that have been made over the years
