    Description

    Wonderful antique, handmade wooden yarn winder, all pegged construction. The base measures 16 3/4” long x 9” wide with the frame measuring 21” high and the overall height including the blade is 32.5". The circumference of the four spokes is approximately 77” which will make a large length skein. The supports are smooth and worn so the yarn won’t get caught. We believe the cog wheel is a rotation counter, so you can calculate the yardage in your skein. Wonderful and useful antique.
