Knife Description:
This is a handmade knife by Chris English of Z custom Knives out of Thomaston GA. It measurements are blade approx 3" with over all length of just under 7". It has a textured bolster, fileworked blade, backstrap and jigged bone handles.

“Z Custom Knives was started by my grandfather, Zollan McCarty. He started in the knife making trade in 1947. I have been in and around the knife shop my entire life learning this trade.
All the knives are handmade and customized by me. Although I make all kinds of knives, automatics are my specialty. I heat treat and Rockwell test every blade. The blade steels I most commonly use are ATS-34, 154-CM, 440C, Vascomax C-350, CPM S30V, CPM S60V, CPM S90V, and the tool steel CPM 10V. The frames of my knives are 6AL/4V titanium or ATS-34.
All knives have a lifetime guarantee. Please remember that I am the only worker in the shop, thus the lifetime guarantee is good as long as I am alive and able.”
