F76x New York Central Railroad stock certificates - unissued, Lot of 4

These are New York Central Railroad Stock Certificates -- genuine, (punch-cancelled) but NEVER ISSUED!
NYC merged with its rival Pennsylvania RR in 1968 -- trying to avoid bankruptcy -- to form Penn Central.
Then Penn Central went bankrupt in 1970.
The remnants were merged into Conrail in 1976.
Conrail was broken up in 1998, and most of NYC the pieces were given to CSX.
These certificates ceased to be redeemable long ago, but they look impressive framed (especially made out to yourself!).
Or, just make them payable to your friends, and give them as gag gifts.
Pick up a "fortune" for just a few bucks.
