    Description

    This coin was issued under
    Bishop Heinrich II
von Rotteneck (1277-1296) in Imperial City of
    Regensburg
    in Bavaria
    in
    1290-1296
    .
    Regensburg
is a city in eastern Bavaria, at the confluence of
    the Danube
, Naab and Regen rivers.  It is capital of the Upper Palatinate subregion of the state
in the south of Germany.  With more than 150,000 inhabitants, Regensburg is the
    fourth-largest city
    in the State of Bavaria.
    In
    1245
    Regensburg became a
    Free Imperial City
    and was a
    trade center
before the shifting of trade routes in the late Middle Ages.  In
    1486
    ,
    Regensburg became part of
    Duchy of Bavaria
    , but its independence was
    restored
by the Holy Roman Empire ten years later.
    Heirich II von Rotteneck
    was
    prince-bishop
of Regensburg from 1277 to 1296 (he died in August 1296).  He became bishop of Regensburg in
    1277
    .
    The
    Regensburg Cathedral
had been damaged in a great fire in
    1273
, and many of its treasures had been lost.  On 21 August 1279, he sold the
Rottenegg castle and possessions including the Mainburg castle
to obtain funds for rebuilding his cathedral
.  As well as promoting construction of
the new Gothic cathedral, he donated many devices and vestments.   He died in August
    1296
    .

I can not send it with registered mail to some nations, including
    USA, Canada & Australia.
The Japan Post Authority has stipulated that the current handling of international mail to some nations,
all of the air-mail can not be treated as registered mail.
The handling is due to the paralysis of the international postal system.
I hope to restore international postal services as soon as possible.
