The civilian self-defense shield is a non-lethal shot Level IIIa and stab Level III ballistic shield that can absorb up to .44 Magnum 240 grain pistol rounds. Use it to block punches, clubs, and stabs. It will defend against a stun gun or Taser because it doesn't conduct electricity. This shield is the same patented Riggs Shield designed for law enforcement without the door mount which was designed to fit patrol cars.
We shot the shield 20 times - 5 times each with .44 Mag, .45 auto, 9mmand .38 spec. All three photos are of the same shield sandwiched together.
