The necklace and earrings are in their original box from Carteaux Jewelers (Chicago, IL). The box itself says "Box Made in Italy" in gold writing on the bottom.

Excellent/very good condition. These are
natural
pearls
which have been very well protected and kept in their original box.
History:
I received this wonderful piece as a gif
t from my (now late) great aunt, Dixie Marquis, a Hollywood and Broadway actress. She starred in numerous films and television series including the Detective (with Frank Sinatra) The Picture Of Dorian Gray, Young Dr. Kildare, the Dick Cavett Show, NYPD, Lucas Tanner, Wet Play house tv series and more. These pears were bequeathed to her by her cousin Cecile, (Mrs. Gene B. Heywood), and originally were purchased by Clara Bryant Heywood, Cecile's grandmother.
