    Description

    This listing is for an unusual primitive steel pot sieve/strainer/colander made in France and marked "16."  It measures 3-1/4 inches deep and 6-6/8 inches in diameter. It has a 5-3/4 inch applied handle on one side and a small 1-3/4 inch by 3/4 inch D-shaped handle/pot rest on the other. The long handle has a hole for hanging. This utensil has holes on the bottom and half-way up the sides. The condition of this piece is excellent for its age and use. There is one small shallow dent along the bottom edge, otherwise no other measurable damage.  Please see pictures for complete condition description.
