SRT Armor Plate - 10x12 Special Threat - Multi or Single Curve

Description

The Small Rifle Threat, or SRT, plates are designed to defeat the most common small rifle threats. The SRT plate has an Alumina strikeface covering roughly a 9 ½” x 11 ½” area for near edge-to-edge protection, with a 10 x 12 UHMWPE backing.

TESTING PROCESS
We test our plates against a ballistic clay witness material to measure the backface deformation. We have made the testing data and videos available to you here and on our YouTube channel.
We've tested these plates against the following:
5.56 M193 at over 3000 FPS
5.56 M855 at over 2900 FPS
7.62 x 39 SP (351/92 Headstamp) - at around 2400 FPS
We do not recommend these plates for 308 protection but we tested them against 175gr FMJ at 2560 FPS and it stopped it. The BFS was just under 50mm, the NIJ standard being 44mm.
