WALTER LAMPL-Cachette in 14 k Gold Rubies & Amethyst

Description

Very rare piece of antique jewelry perfume bottle (Cachette), designed by designer Walter Lampl in New York USA 1930/40.
The Cachette is in 14K gold gild, with Rubies & an amethyst in the center, it’s marked at the bottom of the Cachette by Lampl.
Height 5, 6 cm, weight 8,5grs, without the bottle. In glass flacon enclosed. Walter Lampl was born in New York City in 1895.
In 1921, at the age of 26, he became the sole owner and manager of a jewellery company called Walter Lampl.
The showroom was established at 47th Street, New York
His jewellery line became a huge success!
From the start, his motto was: quality.
Often used materials: sterling gold.
Walter was an advocate of the use of precious stones: jade, garnet, moonstone, coral, pearl, amethyst, blue topaz etc.
Walter Lamp died in 1945 at the age of 50.
His family continued the company until 1959.
