The set that was produced on October 12th, 2009. The special edition knife features a “
Raindrop
” Damascus blade.
Mike Norris
, the master bladesmith for this knife, always perfects the “Raindrop” pattern and effect. It’s predictable in its unpredictability.
The thumb and button stone are two stunning
rubies
positioned within
18k gold bezels
. To add atop the luxury of the red gems are the
colored sapphires
that mirror an amber hue. It really does contrast against the sterling silver that circles and weaves above the ancient scales.
This particular
Walrus fossil
ranges from 6,000 to 10,000 years ago. It was gathered in Siberia as well as Alaska. The glamor that anyone, Collectors and admirers alike, can truly appreciate of this model’s inlay is that it is not completely smooth like most William Henry knives we see and expect. It gives a new respect for the natural flaws of nature and biology. There are imperfections from the centuries of time and the process of
fossilization

Accompanying clip case is made of
thin brown ostrich skin
. The lanyard is a braided leather with sterling silver beads. This knife also comes with the more rarely listed
display box with the carved logo
on top of the box’s lid. It has
“
William Henry” atop the seal and “Limited Edition” beneath. Please, check the pictures to see its beautiful presentation!
The display box itself has some wear and fray but, the tray insert is in nearly perfect condition. The knife has never been carried or sharpened. It is in pristine condition.
