This William Henry B10 Lancet DARK DRAGON is absolutely breathtaking. By the pictures alone, little needs explaining beyond what each piece of it is.
The abundance of silver starts to sink into the blackness of the scales. It is splashed astoundingly with nothing more than just a few specks of red and, that’s all it seems to need,
Some W.H. need a further a reason “why should I?” while others like the Dark Dragon exists just to be radiant.
They production date was November 21, 2013. This Knife is
#46 in a small set of 50. Only 50 other Dark Dragons in the entire world.
**** To those who have asked: at this current time, there will be no other dragon carvings (frame and inlaid scales included) in any of my future William Henry knife listings. This is the only dragon. This will be your only opportunity****
The chosen master bladesmith for the Dark Dragon was
Mike Norris
. He was clearly in the right when he decided on the blade portion to be hand-forged with the “
Hornet’s Nest
”. This particularly Damascus pattern twists and spirals like flames raining down onto what is to be chaos and ash.
Mike Norris wanted the dragon, as a beast and knife together, to have true true justice. The frame of the dragon itself is
hand-carved sterling silver.
The dragon built of silver circles closer or perhaps is startling to coil around the bright
red topaz
placed within the golden bezel.
This red topaz is the thumb button.
The second topaz is placed at the base of the blade.
The inlaid scales is truly what is fascinating about this William Henry. The black scales are made with
carbon fiber
. Carbon Fiber knife handles are designed to be lightweight, incredibly durable and strong. There are references that carbon fiber handles are stronger than steel. The same material is coveted and very popular in other industries like
technology, automobiles, and also aerospace
.
The display box itself inside has some minute wear and fraying flakes but, the tray insert is in nearly perfect condition.
The knife has never been carried or sharpened. It is in pristine condition.
